To bring you hunting Season.... ;D Well my hand is healed my pad is poured waiting on electric work but that can wait all other things take second place till Hunting season is over.
-
NO! Don't do it! Don't wait! You will be so sorry if you put this off. And think of how all the deer will feel...
-
Al I can think of is the scene in "My Cousin Vinny" where Melisa Tormae is giving Joe Pescie grief about going hunting:
"....You were gonna shoot a deer?? A poor, defenseless, doe-eyed little deer?? Imagine you're a deer. You go down to the brook, put your little deer lips down to the cool, clear water... and BAM! a fuckin' bullett hits you right in the head, your brains are splattered all over the ground. Now I ask ya... would you give a f_ck what kind of pants the sonofab!tch who shot ya was wearin'?"
;)

I'm not against hunting as long as people eat the meat.
But I personally think it would be better for the hunters to strap antlers on their heads and slam their heads agaist the deer's.
How can it be a fair fight ... Bambi up against someone with a bazooka ... maybe if the deer fired back ... I can see sniper deer in the field with a high powered rifle and night vision with all the other deers snorting hunter's locations .... now that's reality TV! ;D
-
First off, I don't hunt.... But I do strongly believe in "you kill it, you eat it".
I recently read a hunting organization's argument in favor of hunting, and it said deer hunters in the US take 5 million deer a year. 5,000,000.......... If they didn't hunt, the deer would quickly become grossly over populated (and it went on to explain the effects of the over population).
Roast bambi sounds reasonable to me.

Well I for one had to give up on deer hunting.
My car insurance got to high!!! ;D ;D ;D

The starvation thing is true- even with all that hunting the deer population keeps on growing. They've relaxed a lot of the old deer hunting regulations in MN, and possibly other places.
One of our local park reserve systems keeps track of their deer population, and once there are too many deer for the park area to support, bow hunters are invited in to thin the heard in a closed, controlled hunt.
Otherwise the heard grows too large, and the animals suffer due to not enough food, which forces them to wander looking for more, taking them onto the local highways where they often get hit by motorists.
It upsets the small handful of PETA who exist in the area, but nobody pays them any attention.
-
In our area, deer are becoming a major problem. They are on the highways, the residential streets, and in our backyards. Unfortunately, they cause numerous traffic accidents and injury to both man an animal.
We actually just had a film crew (CBC) in our neighbourhood looking for horror stories on the escalating deer population in our area. Having been there (or here) for only a couple years, we don't have any. We do leave bags of apples out in the fall for them to eat though.
My wife thinks they're pretty to watch.

As you can tell, I don't hunt either. Actually as long as a hunter, ANY HUNTER, is responsible, eats the meat they get or is providing a "service" to a communitee by thinning a herd - I really don't have a problem with them.
I do have a problem with a bunch of people who call themselves hunters and don't act responsibly. Not being a hunter, I've heard too many stories of irresponsible people posing as hunters shooting up things because they can - that's where the sniper deer come in!
Of course the good stories - I don't know!! :)

I got a cow license for Estes Park, Colorado where a third of the Elk in the state winter.
Couldn't decide whether to actually bring a gun or just a lead rope and a baseball bat....(those of you from CO will understand)

I'm starting to wonder if Steve and Chas are the same person. For one thing, it's difficult to believe that two separate people would pick "videos" like these to represent themselves. Also, having two separate identities makes it easier to mess with Jim's head. He puts the Chas hat on and plays low key good cop and then puts the Steve hat on and gives a little bad cop smackdown to Jimbo (I think Steve is public enemy #1 over there). Have you noticed that we've never seen them both together??!! That's my theory and I'm sticking to it!! ;D
-
That would explain why I've never seen them together!

So how would you explain Steve and the Spidey outfit? Is that what his 'jammies look like or is he just a "cross-dresser" (no wait, that's JMcD)
