The weather has been pretty darn hot in the East and we left our new super duper long delayed by Fed Ex solar pool cover on when we went to the beach this weekend. My son invited a friend over to swim tonight and when they uncovered the pool...it was 95 degrees...HOLY COW!! They said it's like swimming in spit :P

Boni,
Our pool has been hovering right around 90 deg also, its not refreshing at all.
I wonder how much a couple cubic yards of ice is, so I can dump it in the pool ;D

From Manitoba?

I've read somewhere that a solar panel for heating water in the daytime will cool off water at night.
My water is about 90 also, luckily we have a breeze going through the yard so you get wet and the breeze cools you off. I tend not to swim just get wet and float around.

I would be more concerned with how they know what swimming in spit is like. ;D ;D ;D ;D

From the title, I thought you were giving your Epic away, Boni. :o

Yep our pool in Maryland is high 80's with no solar cover. We only have the spa at 94 and the other day with the cover on it was up to 102!!! Way too hot for this time of year!!
