Very surpirsed (and happy) that the Eagles have been so agressive in free agency. Now get us a damn WR and a FB, and we'll be ready to go! ;)

The Lions are rumoured to be looking at trading you guys a WR for Lito Shepard. Sounds like Shaun MacDonald and a 4th or 5th round pick for Shepard

:( I love Lito..that will make me sad. As far as Asante...did you say yes Dax?? I remember when I was looking for a hot tub years ago, the Sundance dealer told me that they were the official tubs of the Eagles..never did find out if that was true.
This time of year is happy and sad..yeah I am excited about finding new talent, but I get attached to so many of the players because I watch a lot of the community based events that they are envolved in...I was sad to see Trotter go and it really upset me when Hugh Douglas left. But I could go on and on...If Detroit grabs Lito, guess I'll be paying lots more attention to the Lions... ;)

Hadn't heard that. Besides, McDonald is too small. The Eagles have enough of those receivers. Make it Roy Williams, and you've got yourself a deal!
Rumor in Philly, or maybe it's just wishful thinking, is that the team is trying to work a deal with the Cardinals for WR Larry Fitzgerald. That would be awesome too!
Also heard that the Eagles made a bid for Randy Moss. Moss signed with the Patriots for $9M/yr even though the Eagles offer was for more than that. Great receiver, by you never know when he's gonna go TO. I think I'd much prefer Fitzgerald or Williams.

Obviously, the Eagles would have to renegotate Fitz' contract. I think the Cards have to pay him something closer to $17M this season. :o I agree that he is one of the best. He'd really look good in midnight green.
Enjoy your soak! No tubbing for me tonight. Drained and refilled with the mild 60* temps in PA. Water's only 80* right now. There's always tomorrow....
