It took me a few minutes to realize the first pic was the delivery. I kept wondering why you installed your spa on a hidden pedastal 3 feet off the ground. ;D ;D :o ::)

Vinny,
How do you service your spa being in the deck like that?
-
Nice Grand Cayman Vinny. Fully loaded it looks like 8-)
Thanks! Almost fully loaded ... no stereo and no upgraded ozone. I think It has almost everything else that was offered in 2005.
Although I probably wouldn't get another spa with the neck collar seats - they are definately the least used seats.

Vinny,
How do you service your spa being in the deck like that?
Well, the spa is 36" tall and the top sits about 23" off the deck. That leaves 13" from the top of the deck to the bottom of the tub. There are 4 pumps in it - 3 in the front and 1 under the filter. Stupid me (maybe?? :-?) I should have rotated the tub by 90º so that the pump under the filter is easily accessible but I can remove the railing if need be.) IMO 13" isn't a lot to deal with if something goes wrong. The electronics are easy to get to, the ozonator is in the front over to the left side if I need to deal with it and although the pumps may be heavy I think it will be OK ... I'm banking on the fact that they won't go bad for a while!
I also made sure ALL the screws on the bottom were removed before the dek was built.

lol you didnt wet test it did you? ;)

Actually, no I didn't but I did dry test it, the seat definately feels different wet than dry. My dealer only had the Piper wet and I knew enough not to test it and think the Cayman would be the same besides I would have wanted the Piper instead! I do use the taller neck collor seat occasionally but since I am the only person who really uses the spa my seat is the one between the neck collar seats - I can slouch down and get a neck and shoulder message or sit up and get an upper and lower back message. I just keep slouching and sitting up and for a real treat I'll put the foot jets on and turn the air on.
Actually I do now believe that wet testing is important but honestly I think that living with things is the way to know what's good or bad... maybe the spa industry should allow a 3 month trial of spas so us consumers can really see how we like the product!! ;) ;D

Here is a few. Built the deck myself.

Not sure but I tink it is the Genesis. I hvae had it for about 10 years. Works great. My neighbor has a Weber that is much newer. He is "getting bored of it" So it went out and purchased a $2,000 Weber. Her was going to leave it on the street. Instead I told him to sell it on Craigs LIst. He did not want to bother. So I told him I will sell mine on CL give him the cash I get and take his grill. He agreed! Crazy how some people waste money,

Nice set-up.
Tell me about it. If any of the neighbors are looking for thier kids, they call my house. 99% of the time they are here.
But they all know the rules. If they come over to swim, they must call first and bring a towel. I had about 10 kids in my pool yesterday. It was 98 deg's.

We have had some really cool weather here in MN lately. Last year I drained my spa June 1st in favor of my summer hobbies which keep me soooo busy, but I still have water in it and it is rainy and 55 degrees today. I am heading out there now!

Posted here before and not quite as exotic as some of the great setups in this thread but we like it and it has proved functional for us.

I sure am glad that I brought my tub from my previous house. 8-) It is a much better set up than my old house.
