Title: a storm busted up my nice old tub
Post by: hot tub Frank on May 22, 2008, 06:44:28 pm
Hi to all.

Sorry that i haven't been here for a while.
3 weeks ago a big sturm came by and a big tree lim fell on my old tub. The lim put a hole in my old leasure bay hot tub.
I reported it to the insurence and got some money out of them to replace the tub.
now i have an 4 year old tiger river bengal hot tub.
what do you all think about this tub?

Should be an upgrade.  What did you pay for it.  Got any pictures of the destroyed tub?
I am working to replace a customer's storm destroyed Classic.

As long as the spa is in good running condition and isn't leaking sounds to me like you got  good deal. Enjoy! :)

That might be the way I get a new hot tub. I cut down a Maple tree when I put my tub in and so the one in my neighbor's yard is growing over my tub which is annoying.  She gets her trees trimmed occasionally and I asked her to tell me when she did I was going to pay the guy to trim the branch coming over the fence and she forgot. The branch is probably 8" in diameter, so it would probably wreck the tub.

Believe me, that's not good!
The case of "Tulip Poplar vs. Hot Tub".  THE TREE ALWAYS WINS:

Had a Softub fly out of the back of my truck on the freeway once, smashed the corner of a Grandee on the side of the door to my warehouse while on the forks of our lift truck, but no storm damage. Sorry -

though not very sorry.  ;D ;D

We had a customer call us one time asking about spa glue to fix his spa. When we asked him what was wrong with the spa he said he cut it in half to get it out of his backyard. When we explained to him what had happened he started cussing at himself and then had us haul it away.   ;D
