My neighbor is looking at buying an above ground oval pool. Is there a forum I can go to and look at best prices/quality such as this one is for spas? Thanks for any input.

You can try poolspaforum and trouble free pools.
I own a Vogue and it has been great. It's a round pool but they make ovals as well ... there are codes that apply to oval pools that may not apply to round - which is why I bought a round, just give your neighbor that FYI in case they don't know.
To keep this spa related ::) - water chemisty in a spa is much more difficult than in a pool! ;D

Some of the good brands out there are:
Doughboy, Vogue, Aqua Leader (although hard to find), and Cornelius.
Not an exhaustive list, but one that will get you headed in the right direction.

I recently replaced my above ground pool and afte a bit if research bought an Esther Williams. I think they are one of the better above ground pools out there; ll aluminum constuction and thick extruded supports and one of the best liners you can buy.
