Title: HS dealers- Hydro air DUAL rotary jet needed
Post by: The_real_Clown_Shoes on December 26, 2007, 03:29:12 pm
Hey, fellow HS dealers and all you other spa folk out there.  Merry Christmas!

I'm in need of a white DUAL-rotary hydro-air jet.

I know that sounds crazy, but I actually had a customer bring one in, and I can't get hold of anyone who believes me that this thing is even in existence.  There was a thought that they sold one as an aftermarket, but it's for a 1990 Grandee, so there's no definite yes or no on that yet.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Chas would know. Give him a call at his store. Not sure if he's open today though...

Isn't that a Micro-massage?  If so, we have them.

Just a quick glance at my parts software says it is a PN 31840 which is the Micro-ssage single-outlet nozzle.

Does the jet you have in hand have the front piece which looks like a peace sign, and does it press in place and then turn slightly to lock?

I may try to call the factory later, if I get a chance.

Sorry, not much help yet...

The 31840 is the single... this guy somehow got a double somewhere.

If it is not the stock HS part, it may be something Hydroair distributed.  I will take a look later.

I heard somewhere that those parts are very hard to come by - I don't recall which of my suppliers told me that.

However, the HydroAir parts tended to yellow over time. HotSpring told me once that they had ordered the parts for HS spas made from a different plastic to avoid that, and I found it to be absolutely true on my own spa when I ordered some HydroAir spinner kits and popped them into place. Less than a year later I could easily point out which ones were which.
