When we have invited guests in the spa, it is inevitable that people will bump or touch someone else unintensionally (when sober). People seem to get really up tight about this. Any suggestions of how to ease the tenion ahead of time?

Tell your guests(female) to come to my house. I'm always in the mood for some feet touchin. ;)

Uptight how? Why wouldn't they just get out of the tub if they feel they are being 'touched' too much? I have not had a problem with this at all...but maybe everyone is already drunk ;)

I've only had a bunch of people in my tub 2x so far but if people are uptight to be in a confined small space then maybe they shouldn't be in it.
You will be in there with bathing suits (I am assuming) - some people are uptight about that. As long as groaping (sp?) isn't happening then I wouldn't worry about it. Don't force anyone to go in and let them get in and out freely - if someone has a phobia then they are free to not soak.
That's my $0.02 on this ... it might be worth even less! ;D

I think everyone likes a certain distance for personal space and when you are in a spa with suits on and more bouyant, there can be an inadvertant slip. Maybe it could all boil down to someones preconceived notions of what goes on in a spa when in reality, enjoying one and others company is the rule.
Maybe it would be good to inform them that people are more bouyant and not to feel ill at ease if someone bumps into them.

Eliminate the "when sober" and all should be good ;D

Just wear a skimpy speedo. Feet touching will be the least of their worries! ;-)

all i can say is...."what goes on under water, stays under water"

I'm surprised feet touching is such an issue. If I'm close enough with someone that I'm letting them in my tub and seeing each other in our swim attire I wouldn't be concerned about accidently playing footsies. Now, if there feet are touching more than my feet or other body parts are saying hello I may have an issue.

I understand the issue, especially if there are men playing footsie with other men in the tub. Don't know if there is much you can do...there is only so much space to put all the feet. It is one of the reasons why I bought a spa with a foot dome...everyone gets their own foot jets and can keep their feet to themselves.......if they like.
