Here is a link to a post that will take you step by step to post the photo. The photos probably should be PG rated.

That is NOT what I pictured Solo as looking like!

I saw a short guy with glasses (maybe taped in the center) weighing maybe 140 lbs and a short sleeved shirt with a pocket protector. Guess I was wrong...  ;D

In fact...he kinda looks like me!  :o lol

Thanks!

Man...feeling SO much better already.  The hydrotherapy is really helping my chronic pains.

Stereo?  No, I didn't get that option though I can see where it would be nice.  I was already slightly outside of budget with no options.  Not to mention, I can always wire some outside speakers.

Gotta say, I'm loving the tub and so are the kids.  Great family time!

Aren't you happy you didn't wait any longer to get your spa?  :)

YES.

But honestly, I think I spent about the right amount time.  I couldn't make a purchase this large without doing a lot of research.  Not to mention, it took this long to find the right deal and ther right tub.  So I don't think I could have done it much faster.

But I sure am glad the shopping is over!

Solo,

I'm like you in the sense that I can't spend that kind of $$$ until I'm absolutely sure.  If I'm not and I pull the trigger early, I can't sleep well (leanred the lesson many moons ago and haven't done it since).  My wife has gone so far as to tell pushy sales people that she will refuse to go home with me when I'm not certain after a purchase.  She'll then ask them about paying for her hotel room, meals, and "will you take it back if he has buyer's remorse within 30 days?"  This shuts them up.  I chuckle now when she does it!

I sure do understand your being happy the shopping's over (hoping to make my decision soon).  You and your gang look great in that tub.  Enjoy!

The Doob

nda, is that a hot tub or an above ground pool?  Those pics cracked me up with the floatie and the pool toys.  Looks like you guys have a blast.  I'd say the next investment is a privacy fence.

LOL - It IS a 480 gallon above ground playground.  In some country's that would probably qualify as a pool.  At least my kids think so anyway.  The picture is a couple of years old.  Shortly after it was taken, we dropped a fairly hefty chunk of change on landscaping the back yard.  A portion of that was for a row of 6 Emerald Arbivitum's, a group of rose bushes, Crepe Myrtle and Purple Leaf plums placed strategically between us and "he who thinks that since it's green it MUST be grass". Three of the arbivitum's are now VERY brown and from this drought so it looks like I'll have to find 3 new mature ones to replace them with next year.

You must be in the southeast.  I keep thinking it HAS to rain soon.  I guess brown trees still offer some privacy in the meantime.  Some people say that good fences make good neighbors.  I think a shotgun and no trespassing signs do the trick. ;)

People across the street from us must be great neighbors because they each put up a fence to seperate them from each other.

We have a corner lot.  A row of firebushes give us privacy from the neighbors to our left.  A row of arbs give us privacy from the neighbors to the rear.  Another row of arbs give us privacy from the street.  Only thing on the street-side is that a neighbor's house across the street is poistioned such that if they looked out their bedroom window they could look over the arbs at our spa.  If said neighbor feels the need to do so, then so be it.
