Title: Filter Qustion

I normally have my filters come on twice in 24 hours for 2 hours,my question is .......Is it ok to change it to once a day for 4 hours.

Any response would be appreciated.

Wouldn't hurt to try. You might be able to filter less as long as your water keeps it's clarity. I recently switched from four 30 minute cycles a day to just two and there was no change in clarity. I do however have a 24 hour circ pump as well though. I know it's kinda over kill but it's been a year now without a single water maintenance problem.

Thanks Chad.I'll try it and see.If it doesn't  work I'll dump the water and go back to what i have been doing

There shouldn't be a need to dump if the new programming schedule doesn't keep the water clear. Just up the cycles to filter more and it should clear up on it's own.

Out of curiousity, why are you changing your programmed cycles?
