I just bought a used 2005 Sundance Altamar. I think the only thing the seller told me to get was new filters. So what filters do I need for this spa and how much are they gonna run me? any good cheap places online to order from?
btw.. how often do you need to change filters on this spa?
Thanks

Any local pool and spa dealer should be able to get you relacement filters, how often to change depends on how well you take care of them and your chemical reaction to your total usage and care of filters be sure to rinse them with clean water or soak them once a week.

do you know what this particular hottub uses in the way of filters?

This spa could have several different filter setups.
The 3 likely possibilities:
1- One large standard pleated filter- if the prior owner got away from the disposable setups that Sundance was using.
2- A disposable smaller "micro" fiter piggybacked onto a medium sized pleated filter
3- A completely disposable filter cartridge
Not exactly sure what Sundance was using on it's 880 series spas in 2005.
If you could let us know what your filter looks like we can help you.

Brewman,
I think it was still the 850 series in 2005 with the Microclean I filter setup. Its best to get your first filters at the local Sundance dealer to be sure you get the correct one.
