How long do most of you soak?   Most of the time with jets on or off?

Usually about an hour.  Jets on most of the time.

In the mornig I soak for as long it takes me to drink my large cup of coffee, about 10-15 minutes, most of the time it is with the jets off. I get out and jump in my pool. Not a better way to wake up.  ;D Unfortunatly I will be closing my pool next week so then it is the 15 minute soak with my coffee.
I also soak for about 20 minutes at night before going to bed, most of the time with the jets on because I will rotate through the 4 corner seats for a full body massage.
I have a Calders Aspire.

In winter i will soak about half an hour while drinking coffee and watching the news. the colder the better. at night i will soak again for about the same amount of time. i will have the jets on high and i will soak with them on low at the end.i will do this daily depending on mood and rain.

Summer time i might be in the spa once or twice a week.

Fall, Winter, & Spring - about 45 minutes  -  1 hour.  Summer 15 - 30 minutes tops.  Summer is just too hot and humid to soak too long.

15 - 30 minutes with morning cup of coffeee.  10 minutes jets on.  Here in northern CA seasons don't matter.

Zero minutes. My tub won't arrive for another 2-3 weeks. :'(

But with my old tub, 20 minutes (until the pump timed out) with the back jets & foot jets on. Then, another 20-40 minutes with just the foot jets on. If I wasn't terribly sore, the last 20-30 minutes would be with no jets. If I was in the mood for a more "gentle" massage or if I was getting too hot, I'd mix in 20 minutes with just the blower on, in one of the higher seats.

Has anybody heard of sitting in a hot tub too long causing blood clots?  A client of our firm had some problems with blood clots, and the dr said it was from sitting in a hot tub for longer than 20 mintues...Just wondering if anyone else has ever heard of that.

I've never heard that.  I have heard that it helps lower blood pressure.  Maybe there's a connection.

I soak between twenty and thirty minutes, half with jets on.

15-20 minutes with the jets on about 10-20% of that time.

Have had my tub less than 3 months, so I've been soaking about 45 minutes.  Jets are on for 40 minutes.  I move around to 3 different seats although the lounger is my fave spot.  Then I sit there about 5 minutes in the warm water drinking my beverage of choice.

I'm finding that I like soaking without the jets.  I keep the jets on at first, but then shut them, the lights and waterfall and just enjoy the quiet.

I generally only soak for 15 minutes, then I get a little antsy.

Welcome to the 15 minute club minimal jetting.

As you can see, everyone is different. Just like they taught us on Sesame Street.

A minimum of 30 minutes, but usually about 45 minutes - never use the jets while I'm soaking, I like the quiet.  I usually fall asleep after about 10 or 15 minutes.

I've wanted to invent some kind of snorkel or head restraint that allows you to breathe if you fall asleep in the tub. If I ever get it worked out I'll never go to bed, I'll just sleep in the tub. I'll wake up all pruney, but it will be worth it!

Having only gotten the tub in the summer, I guess it is a far different experience soaking when it is cold outside.  Probably more enjoyable, right?  Prior to buying my Cameo, I'd only been in a hot tub once or twice at a resort.  So, at the risk of again asking basic questions, I have another:

What does the air injector do?  Can someone explain the benefits of more or less air?
