Greetings, all!
I've been reading this forum for the past few months while shopping for a hot tub. I just want to chime in to say thank you for all the wisdom that is shared here. You assured me that Sundance is a good name, so I felt comfortable with my purchase of the Hawthorne model even though it had just hit the market (six weeks ago). It arrived last Thursday and we couldn't be more pleased. You've also taught me a lot about caring for the water/tub, so we've experienced no problems outside of the PH being a little slow to come down.
The only slight problem we've had thus far was on the first day when the electrician failed to show. He did give us a 20% discount the next day, so we got hooked up for $420. I guess that's a decent price from what I've seen on this site.
For anyone not familiar with the Hawthorne, it's 91" X 91" and has all the "goodies" we wanted, including LED lights, waterfall, foot jets, lounger, stainless steel jets, etc. We paid $6,700 for it. Even though it has been incredibly hot here in Ohio, we've been in the tub the past three nights and will be again tonight. We feel like we're on vacation without leaving the house!
Again, thanks for all the terrific information!
