We've put down a holding deposit on a 2014 display model Jacuzzi J-245. Before we go ahead and complete the deal I had a couple of questions just for my own peace of mind as we've never bought a hot tub before.
Does $5400 (inc. the Bluetooth stereo) sound like a good price? It sounded really good in the store, but now I'm realizing this is a fairly basic model anyway.
Should we wet test before going ahead? We sat in it dry, and already know we don't want the lounger so the seat configuration seems OK. But I'm hearing lots of people talking about wet testing. Is it a mistake to buy without first wet testing?
Thanks in advance!

$5400 with a stereo sounds like the dealer really wants to get rid of 2014 stock!

Yep very good price. Ours was a non floor model without the bluetooth for around 7-8k through our local dealer. We knew we didn't want the lounger either. We didn't wet test but we love it.

Thanks everyone. I'm happy to go ahead with it now. Just getting the deck altered to take the hot tub now so should have it in a couple of weeks.
