Title: Black mold on drink tray

I have a drink tray that stays in my hot tub, how do I prevent black mold from getting on it?

I have the same problem on the diverter valves in my old Marquis. Every few weeks I used diluted bleach and a rag to wipe around them and they are good for 3-4 weeks.
