Title: Marquis 660 Electrical Inlet location
Post by: mojonez on May 06, 2017, 11:31:37 am
Hey guys,

I'm digging a trench for the 240 supply line.  Does anyone with a 660 know how far from the front of the tub the electrical inlet hole is?

My local dealer has a 545, and on it I measured about 14.5 inches.  But he doesn't know on the 660.

Marquis sent me a 660 diagram but it doesn't show it.

Thanks!  great forum 😁

typically if it's not shown on a manufacturer schematic then it means you have free reign to use a good sharp 'spade bit' and drill the 3/4" - 1" hole anywhere it makes sense (using common sense and not drilling through a pipe or any part of the internal components of the spa of course) Unless of course there is another schematic the dealer isn't aware (which would be very odd if he's in the business)

Are you trying to poke up through the base? We have the 660 in my showroom,
I could measure it for you if you would like.

Hey Markee,

Not inside, just alongside.  Tub exterior edge is flush with slab edge, so am hoping to come straight up out of the ground alongside slab edge, and then right angle into the tub at the tub's pre drilled side inlet for clean as possible.

I have to rebury the trench before the tub arrives, so  all I really need to know is how far back that side hole on the tub is from the front of the tub (I'm assuming its the same as the 545 but am not certain).

Thx!
