ello, I'm reaching out for assistance with my Hot Springs Jetsetter LX hot tub, purchased in April 2021. Fortunately, it's still under the 5-year electrical warranty, although the 2-year lighting warranty has expired. I'm hopeful this issue falls under the electrical category.

Issue Description:

Initial Symptom: Approximately two weeks ago, I observed that the MotoMassager was inactive.
Subsequent Observation: A few days later, the underwater light exhibited limited color functionality, stuck on a few colors and unresponsive to attempts at color changes.
Troubleshooting Attempts: I've tried resetting the remote panel and powering off the tub entirely, neither of which resolved the issue.
Progression: The lighting issues escalated, affecting both interior and exterior lights. Now, when the power button on the remote is pressed, it inadvertently activates the jets and sets the lights to blue. Attempting to change the light color results in all lights turning off.
Remote Control Functionality:

The remote includes several controls: a purple icon for jets, a water drop for saltwater settings (adjusting levels and cleaning cycle), and a lightbulb for light settings. Currently, the saltwater settings are unresponsive, the jets control functions correctly, but the light setting fails to change the lights' colors.
Dealer Visit:

A local dealer inspected the hot tub but was unable to diagnose the issue. Although he did replace and repair the MotoMassage. They've decided to consult Hot Springs tech support for further guidance and I'm waiting to hear back from them. During their visit, a suspected faulty salt cell was replaced without resolving the problem. Notably, when the tub is powered off and then on, the blue lights activate, and saltwater settings are temporarily accessible, but any attempt to adjust the lights immediately negates this functionality.
I apologize for the lengthy post but wanted to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the situation. If anyone has encountered similar issues or has insights into potential fixes, your input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!

Hot Spring Spas / Re: Remote not working on Grandee

Since you can't adjust the temp without it, have you checked the manual for any hidden button combos or tricks? Sometimes, there's a way to reset or change settings without the remote. If that doesn't work, you might have to bite the bullet and go for the new controller setup the dealer mentioned. It's pricey, but it could be the only fix.

The Bullfrog 2013 A6L SS sounds like a sweet deal, especially with those JetPaks and the Circ. Pump. The Costco Roadshow events seem like a great way to snag a deal, especially with that 18% below dealer prices offer. If you end up getting more info from Bullfrog or the local dealer, definitely share it here! Working a bit longer to boost your budget for the tub sounds like a solid plan.

I've been wondering the same thing! From what I've gathered, the circulation pump helps keep the water cleaner and more evenly mixed with chemicals. Without it, you might need to run the jets longer on low speed to get the same effect, which could use up more energy.

As for Bullfrog spas, it's weird they don't include it standard, but maybe they figure most folks won't miss it? If you're keen on getting one, it might be worth adding as an option, especially if you plan to use the spa a lot. You could always ask the dealer about adding it in and see what they say!

Bullfrog Spas / Re: NeckPlus Vs. NeckEase (2023)

I've got the NeckEase JetPaks in my Bullfrog 2023, and they're solid. Can't speak for the NeckPlus, but the NeckEase does wonders for my neck. About the spray, nah, no water wars here. Just make sure it's set up right for your height. Backwise, the Trio Jet packs are my go-to – feels like a personal massage.

These last couple feel very "spammy".

Two and a half years in, and it's giving up the ghost? Not cool, especially for a 10K tub. Rainwater collection turning it into a makeshift water bed is just the icing on the cake. Definitely a head-scratcher. Good move on calling the warranty folks – maybe they'll sort you out without much hassle.

Hot Spring Spas / Re: Freshwater Salt System - Can it be disabled?

I feel your pain with those pesky cartridges. Been there, done that. So, here's the lowdown: you can totally disable the Freshwater Salt System, but it's like diving into the tech stuff. Usually involves some button combo dance, consult your hot tub manual for the secret handshake. If that fails, hit up your dealer again. Sometimes they got the hookup or a sneaky trick up their sleeve.

Dealing with back issues is a real pain in the... well, back! I feel for your wife, man. Okay, so my aunt had a similar deal with her back probs, and she swears by those tubs with hydrotherapy jets. Like, legit, it's like a mini massage for your entire body. Check out models with adjustable jets so you can tailor the pressure. And yeah, that lounger section is key – it hits the sweet spot, you know?

Also, consider those tubs with built-in heating features. Keeps things cozy and can help relax the muscles even more. Maybe hit up a few spa showrooms, test the waters (literally), and see what clicks. Best of luck, hope your wife finds some relief soon!

To upload pictures, you'll usually need to use a third-party image hosting service like Imgur and then insert the image using the "Insert Image" button, which sounds like what you're trying to do. As for a profile section, that's usually available right from the start, but it might depend on the specific site or forum you're using. If you can't find instructions, don't worry, it's not always easy to spot everything right away.
