Title: Suction fitting making high pitch noise, stops when touching it

Hello  :),

I have a Canspa Manufacturing Inc hot tub (no longer in business, it's not the same company as the currently existing Canspa company) and the suction fitting makes a high pitch noise (kind of like a whistling/humming sound, it's hard to describe). The noise stops if we put a finger on it (with no pressure, just a gentle touch). The pumps and every thing else makes no weird sound at all and are in perfect working condition.

Would by any chance anyone have an idea of what it could be?
