After 23 years our Leisure Bay spa needs replacing and I've been frustrated in my search for a new one. My wife has terrible back problems and the tub only helps when the temperature is in the 107-110 degree range. All the new tubs only reach 104, which may be comfortable but not valuable therapeutically. Are there any tubs that can achieve our desired temperature? Do I need to search outside the USA? Or is there an easy adjustment to get a few more degrees?

I can trick my Jacuzzi to 106 but haven't herd of anything hotter than than.......

How do you "trick" it? Is it easy?

Sundance can be programed to go to 106 also.

Hot Spring will go to 106 as well...if you want extreme 107+ heat your probably limited to something with a mechanical heater that can be "adjusted" to run above recommended temps. I don't know of any new tubs that will go above 106 and I can't recommend trying to "rig" anything new...control boards are expensive to replace

Pretty much this.
HS, Jacuzzi and Sundance will go to 106 not sure about others, Marquis maybe?

107 to 110? That's extreme. 101, set it and forget it at my home. Getting overheated is a drag.

110 is absolutely over the top hot, we had a customer with a built in spa in his home that had a mechanical pool heater on the spa he rigged up to 107 and I thought that was insane, I couldn't imagine anything good coming out of sitting in 110 degree water :o

I thought 100 was hot on some of the wet testing I did...Once in it was good....
If your in a very cold place maybe 107 would be nice, but to me that's just way to hot and you could get burned.

I find 101 let's me stay in as long as I want rather than the heat forcing me out. I think it depends greatly on the length of time the user is in the spa. I like to stay in an hour or longer generally.

It all depends on the type of therapy you want. If you just want to spend a large amount of time just lounging around in the spa, lower temps are better. Higher temps may reduce the amount of time you can spend in the spa, but also have a different effect. In Japan, they soak in water up to 114 (yes, one hundred fourteen degrees).

Arctic Spas can be set to 107. You have to know the top secret code to do it though! ;)

Assuming its done the same way as Sundance, I think its hold down the up button for a second or two, then hit JETS1 and then the up button again to go above 104. The F if your showing in Fahrenheit will blink. I'm glad that feature is there. All winter long we soaked in my Dynasty for 10 years at 104F. i'm pretty good at feeling temp changes. At the 104 I was use to the Sundance felt like 102.5. Which is right? I don't know, but I wanted the same temp so around this time of year it gets cranked to 106, which I think is like 104.5 in my old tub. That's too hot if you want to spend an hour in the tub, but for 20 minutes before bed, its perfect in the winter. Plus hen I get out of the tub after 20 minutes at 106 I'm warm enough to get the tub closed up while the wife runs for the door.

I have a 2014 HS Limelight Glow. Can this be raised above 104 degrees? I would love to be able to get just another degree or two out of it. If anyone knows can you please PM me? Thanks.
