Title: No Fault 6000 Heater Not Heating
Post by: oGMGo on December 21, 2014, 07:44:41 pm
We moved to a house recently that had a hot tub that apparently worked. We moved the hot tub to put a concrete patio in. We moved the hot tub back and tried to hook it up. Once we hooked the hot tub up there was no heat coming from the hot tub. There is a no fault 6000 heater, and there was no heat coming through it. We have no idea what the problem is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Most likely an air lock and you tripped the heater relay. Did you refill with the hose incerted in the filter standpipe? If not you have air in the plumbing lines that needs to be purged out. Turn off your breakers  in your sub panel box for 20 minutes and force the air out of the lines with your hose by incerting the hose in your filter standpipe. Flip your breakers back on and run your jets for a few minutes and you should see your heater start working again. Very common issue people have when refilling their hot tub. By shuting off your breakers for 20 minutes you reset the relay that was tripped. What Watkins made Tub do you own?
