Does anyone have any feedback on Great Lake Spas? I'm considering one that seems like a quality tub at a fair value, but can't get a lot of info on them.
Thanks!

I found your message asking about great lakes spa. Did you buy one? If you did how do you like it. We are in the process of purchasing one but s you we con't find out alot about it. The dealer seems really great but yet I'm nervous with such a huge investment. thanks for any help you can give.

Great Lakes is a medium line spa manufacturer. They have been around for a long time nd is a solid company.
I think that they are an ok spa. Be sure to test soak the exact spa that you are considering. Ask the dealer for referrals, take a good look at the warranty, and test soak, test soak, test soak.

ALSO-find out about the service the dealer offers.
Great Lakes has recently begun to build spas for WalMart. This is a lower end, mass merchant spa
that has cut alot of corners for the sake of price. Stay away from these spas. Will cost you morein many ways in the long run.

I've owned my Ottawa for almost 3 years and have had no trouble at all. For the 4200 bucks I payed for it, I could of had 2 for the same cost as most big name brands. It has plenty of power for me, is quiet, and cost the same to operate as any comparable sized tub. I have not had to use the dealer but GL has been around a long time and you don't survive selling tubs for as long as they have without doing something right. Not a top of the line quility tub but a great value for your dollar. They use fiberglass backed acrylic for there shell Balboa, Sta-Rite non proprietory parts.

I guess "Mr. Sappy" didn't notice the date?
Or has never HAD a date?
Or couldn't GET a date?
Or owns a spa with DAIT??
Hmm.
All of the above may be true.
