Title: Newbie Question on Price and Options for J325
Post by: bcg33478 on August 30, 2014, 05:47:10 pm
Newbie here,

My choices are narrowed down to the Hotsprings Prodigy and Jacuzzi J325. Based on the fit, the J325 will probably the the one.  The local (semi-local) dealer has the J325 for $6500 (+ tax) with free delivery if purchased this Labor Day weekend.  It will still take 3-4 weeks for fab and deliver.  My questions are:

1. Is $6500 a good price and what kind of reduction should I expect if I offered to pay cash?

2. Should I consider the Smartseal Insulation living in Florida?

3. I didn't see Ozonator option for either tubs? Should I ask for one?

4. Should I consider salt water?

Sorry about all the questions but as I said, Newbie here and I'm looking to pull the trigger soon.

Thanks in advance.

Ozone is standard on Prodigy.

$6500 sounds like a great price to me. I'm also in Florida and typically see lower prices than others in here.  I don't think you'll need ozone since you have the UV.  That's what I did anyways.  Personal opinion, I'd steer clear of the salt system, others may steer you toward it...  your call.
