Hi. Got my Grandee a couple months ago.
Still trying to figure it all out, but enjoying it.
One issue I have is with chlorine readings. I have output set at 8. Readings seem good. But, I generally end up with no chlorine (no purple reading) when I check readings at end of week. Dealer said it's normal to add some oxidizer, then some chlorine once per week.
That seems to do the trick, but should I have to be adding chlorine weekly if I have Ace? I thought the idea of Ace was to avoid adding chlorine.
If so, how much oxidizer and how much chlorine are you adding weekly?
Thanks!

Have you used phosphate remover? Salt Systems perform much better when all phosphates are removed at startup. Make sure your cell is clean as well

I would strongly suggest using an oxidizer and or granular chlorine as part of your regular routine with Ace.
The Grandee is a large hot tub. The Ace output will need to remain maxed out if you are using the Grandee on a regular basis.(I would not suggest operating the Ace System like that.) Try to get it down to a medium out put level.
Do yourself a favour and buy the Portable On The Go Water Softener. Your dealer should have access to it. Top up and refills go through this device.
Inspect your cell monthly. CRITICAL.
Keep the filter around the Ace Cell as clean as possible. CRITICAL.
Keep the salt level close to 1,700 - 1,800 ppm.
Never use the boost function. Supplement the boost with Oxidizer / Granular chlorine.

Ok. So normal to use Oxidizer and Chlorine on a regular basis with ACE? Amount vary, but approximately 1-2 capfuls of Oxidizer and a few teaspoons of chlorine, weekly.
Is that what anyone else with ACE is doing?
Thanks.

Seems like a lot of extra work and chemicals for a $1500 salt system
