Title: Check Valve
Post by: Bonfire on January 12, 2019, 03:27:55 pm
Hot Springs limelight Pulse model, no ozonator. I had to order a new 3/4" water line check valve as the old one was cracked. I think this line has something to do with circulation pump. Its 2 days until it arrives, I went to Lowes and bought a 3/4" plastic coupler to hold water in the tub until new check valve arrives. My question is, can I run circulation pump w/o jets like this? Just refilled tub and would like to treat the water w/ circulation pump running if possible. I've tried a few searches on web, forums, and the YouTube w/o any luck. TIA for any answers

As long as the circ pump is working you'll be fine without that check valve. Its there so that if the circ pump stops working the water doesn't move back up the hose into the ozonator.
