Hey Bill:
How about starting board for "deleted posts?" You could lock all topics so they don't continue...
It feels so disjointed sometimes when stuff disappears and I can never figure out what was said last and why. Follow-up posts then go on for days with everyone referring to "THE thread." Sometimes I think most of the people posting never even read it...

good idea... just create a third catagory, call it deleted posts due to childish bickering. that way when a post get out hand, you can move the whole thing out of the main topic, and consumers like me can continue to get the same great info from the professionals on the board.
the bonus would be the entertainment factor that such a catagory could provide. it might even tie up some of the "legends in thier own mind" so the folks truly trying to help us consumers, with our real questions, can do so without so much whining and grandstanding.....

An idea worth considering. I'll keep it mind. I usually try to stay pretty hands off, till it gets way out of control. (My philosophy for kids too)

That's the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of. Everybody knows that we professionals never bicker and fight.
In fact, I have never seen a group who's focus has been so united.

OK, OK, I opened up the forum this morning and saw a post called "Naked Girls but NO Bubbles" from Columbia. While I was trying to read it it suddenly "went away" and I could find NO trace of it. :-[
DAMMIT Jim, why couldn't you just wait a FEW more minutes? BTW, Columbia seems like a nice guy, probably young, wealthy, lives on a beach in Columbia... HEY, now, wait a minute.... Columbia? OH, COLUMBIA!!!

I am assuming he deleted the original post. This @#$# always happens on weekends when I am not keeping up with you guys. Without the original post, the rest didn't make any sense, so I killed the thread.

Ok, I've been thinking about this, but haven't had the time to deal with it. I've been searching, and finding a new job and lots of other issues. I wanted to come up with a good idea, and I think I'll call this section the

And move threads that people want to keep rehashing there and chances are I won't even moderate it ;)
