Title: Cancun since Wilma?

Has anyone been to Cancun since the hurricane? Just curious how much is back up and running. Planning a "girls trip" in May. Thanks! 8)

that is where Marquis was having a little get together, but now its in cabo. i think by may it should be back to normal, but a travel agent would be better than i would on that info

I've heard that they've mad progress on getting things back to normal, many of the hotels and resorts are open.  I've also heard how much sand needs to be trucked in to restore the beaches.  Can't remember the exact figure, but it was huge.
I'd also check with a travel agent to see what they know.
