Title: Quote on Marquis 2 Pump Promise - 1st Time Buyer
Post by: aroy11462 on March 26, 2014, 02:05:57 am
Is $8,677 a good price on the Marquis Promise for Northern CA.  It includes taxes, delivery, Marquis cover companion, and steps.  I was trying to stay to stay below $8,000.  I haven't tried to negotiate at all yet.  Any suggestions for anything similar with a comparable warranty.

Thanks in advance.

aroy, I think the best way to know if that is a good price in your area is to find another Marquis dealer and get a quote from him/her.  In my recent search for a hot tub, I had dealers tell me they didn't want to lose a sale to their competition.  Do your homework.  I also wouldn't buy a hot tub on the day I saw it.  Sleep on it one night, and if you wake up feeling it's the right one, get it.

I sold that same package on Saturday for $8995 plus tax in Massachusetts.  Your getting a good price and the dealer probably doesn't have a lot of room to negotiate.  I had that tub listed on my showroom for $9,195 with no cover lift or steps but moved on the price because my 0% financing on my floorplanning was ending soon

That's a good price, the normal price at the store I work at is $9,495 + $800 for the additional pump/geyser jets, and that doesn't include tax.
