DTE Energy here in Michigan has a new app that lets you monitor your energy usage by the minute. This is very interesting data.
I can see when the Hot tub heater kicks in as it is a big spike in the energy usage. I am seeing about a 6KW spike. Does this seem correct for the Vanguard? I think there is a 4KW Heater plus the pumps.
Any thoughts on if this is typical of this generation of Hotsprings tubs?
Does the Heater deteriorate over time and become less efficient and maybe should be replaced?
