Title: J470 - which filter is for the circulation pump?
Post by: Snowjob on October 08, 2017, 08:38:22 am
Preparing for our new 470 that is supposed to arrive in a few days, instructions say "Place Nature2 Spa Stick inside the filter on the circulation pump side"  There are 2 large cylindrical filters, which one of them is the circulation pump side?

thanks

Unless they have changed it?  When you remove the filters, it will be the side with a screen or grate like thing.  The other will just be an open hole where the filter screws into it.

Does this apply to any spa?  I have a bullfrog X8L and my tub also has 2 filters...Not sure if one or both are for the circ pump.

On the BFX I think it's the filter to the right?  Circ pump or not?  You can just remove a filter and see which one has suction..

The 2 part one is the circulation pump on my 2013  J-480. A small pleated filter and a small non pleated one....to my understanding.

look for the one with the Nature2 stick......
