Title: Side panel bulging - new Jacuzzi hot tub.
Post by: Fireman_MCK on April 07, 2021, 06:09:12 am
I just setup my new Jacuzzi Soul Play hot tub. I noticed after filling it with water and especially letting it reach 95 degree temperature that one of the side panels is bulging out. I haven’t unscrewed the panel to investigate yet. It’s held by four screws on the bottom edge.

Any ideas? I’ve reported the issue with the dealer ... waiting for their reply.

Thanks

never heard of that model, is it a roto-molded spa? if so I've seen similar issues on these types of roto mold spas after they are filled, both were actually equipment doors that could not be removed due to the water weight flexing the plastic so much.  Talk with your dealer they'll either repair (unlikely to be done if roto mold) or replace it for you.  Good Luck!

Thanks.

Dealer is coming out Tuesday to review and start the process with Jacuzzi.  Yes it is a roto-mold spa.
