Title: 2004 580 Beachcomber
Post by: nicker22 on April 22, 2014, 11:51:09 am
hi there, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what is involved in replacing a return flow sensor.  I have a line on a 2004 Beachcomber 580 tub that I can get a super deal on.  The tub needs a few jets replaced and the flow valve replaced.  The physically shape is amazing, was located under a covered area so the cabinet stairs are in excelent shape as is the shell.

thanks in advance.

It's probably pretty standard, and easy to change out, but you need to find out if it's a pressure switch or a flow switch.
Do you know if it has the small circulating pump or just uses the main 2 spd pump.   I don't know Beachcomber all that well maybe Tman or others will chime in..

In 04 I think they used what they called the hush pump for circulation. A bit bigger than a standard circ pump. Fed more jets. Could be simple if it's just the flow sensor. Located just down stream from the heater. Where's our Beach guy? Been a while since I seen one. They have a beach repair guy around here pretty much covers all of them.
