Title: Jacuzzi 365 purchase advice
Post by: Djolette on April 19, 2014, 11:04:04 pm
1st time buyer in Colorado. Like the jacuzzi 365, dealer quoting 10,100 to include cover and steps. Looking for advice on fair price for this 2014 model and any negotiation advice.

Thinking of 9000 as my starting offer

Thanks

What options does it have?

Once you get your best price, I would see if they could throw in a cover lifter, starter chem kit and any other accessories you may want (extra filters perhaps...).
Was that price for shipping / set-up, as well?

Good luck on your choice!

Djolette, pricing varies across the United States.  For example, I bought a used jacuzzi J375.  The dealer in my area, so. WI, had this tub "on sale" for $11,500.  The previous owners of the tub bought it in Cincinatti for $8,300, with tax.  So, there can be a huge price difference from one local to another.  I would check all jacuzzi dealers in your area, to make sure you are in the ballpark.  Let your nearest dealer know this, and this may help you get the bottom dollar.  Good luck.  Oh, and by the way, we love our jacuzzi.

My wife and I just purchased a j 365 for $8700 here in NJ. That included the cover( which is not a option it should come with it) , the cover lifter, starter chemical kit and delivery . $10k seems like a lot to me and I would  shop around. You also might be able to avoid paying the tax if you have the cash on hand and your local dealer will work with you.

Just as a comparison when we were putting our initial money down I asked about a j385 and it was $9700.  Hopefully that will help you

I live in CO as well and was quoted $11.3k for the J385. Sounds like pricing varies greatly by state.
