Post by: rtkulhaw on August 28, 2009, 02:15:32 pm
i have a 4 year old J345 ,eariier this spring we got in it and felt that it was not as warm as it indicated on the read out 103. i just blew it off as the weather was a factor.a month later opened it up for weekly treatments and it was stone cold and nothing was working on the readout was the error code  [ - - - ] does anyone know what the heck that code means.its starting to get towards fall and i anticipate the need for it soon

Thanks in advance

4 dashes is a general error code, most likely a temp sensor.  You still have a year left on warranty call your dealer!   You could shut the spa down for 10 min restart see what happens.

Considering were almost into September your time line doesn't make any sense?

Shut down power, clean your filter with a good filter cleaning agent, rinse well, reinstall and power up. Normally the three dashes indicate low flow, and a dirty filter is the most common cause of that.

Heads up 3 dashes does not indicate low flow.  FL1 would do that  ;)
