Title: Days above 50 in New England
Post by: Nhbeacon on February 05, 2005, 06:30:56 pm
Gotta love it! Got the filters rinsed in the driveway today after washing 3 cars. So what if I have an iced driveway. I got a filled hot tub with clean filters and three clean cars. All is definitely good in my neck of the woods today.

We have not been able to use the tub much in the past month because of the brutal cold, but looking good for tonight. It's nice to take advantage of such a beautiful day today.

Jan :D

Now Chas, just don't post that pix of coastal California.

All this melting!  Lots of insurance claims from ice dams and seepage in southern NE.

Yep,
Got the same dang leak in the front roof. Drip edge over steps that no one ever uses, need to come down and a few pine trees cut would help with the melting.
But up in NH we don't have as much snow as Southern NE.

OK - how about an overview of the city then?

That pic Chas....reminds me of the "Arlington"  in the Oakland hills. Indian Rock in Berkeley had a similar view too.

I took that one from 'Grant Park' high on a hill overlooking downtown Ventura.

That was back when the pier was the 'longest wooden pier on the west coast' or some such thing. You know why nobody else had a longer one? It blew apart every winter during the storm season. So now it's half steel, and has been fine for years.
