Title: Jacuzzi J400 Topside Control Panel
Post by: PhilipG on January 07, 2022, 09:07:51 am
My control panel seems to have failed - and replacement parts (JAC6600-857 or JAC6600-099) both seem to be obsolete. Can anybody help finding a replacement? Is it possible to use a generic or non-Jacuzzi part instead? Thanks.

How did it fail?  I recently replaced the touch panel on mine when several of the buttons stopped working.

That sounds very similar. The buttons were gettting harder and harder to use e.g. the Jet1 and Jet2 buttons would take several attempts to switch on and off. Thanks for the tip.

Hi, I have the same problem. Did you manage to find a solution?

Hello All,

Mine is starting to have a slow response for the buttons.    Does anybody know of a solution besides upgrading the full control board and topside to the newer version?

Ironically, I just logged back in here after a few years about this same topic.   Fighting with the buttons and the display window is burnt so you can barely see the screen during the day.   So far, only thing I found was someone on ebay offering to repair it for a lot of cash, which if that's the case, I plan to try myself.  I have done a few tv remotes with similar issues with mixed success.

Another option I was investigate was remote control.   I thought I remembered the tub had a stereo option, and if you got that option, it came with a remote control.  I wonder how much to "retrofit" the tub to use the remote would be, both in labor and cost.
