So, our PDC tub has been used three times since it was delivered/setup. It's a 400 gal Malibu.
By the second (or third?) time we used it, I could definitely feel essentially an almost greasy coating on the tub, where it had been glossy smooth.
It's a vacation home, so we only get up there for a week or two every couple of months - with local biweekly (in theory) maintenance for the year.
I can assume that they'll barely check/add chemicals during their checks. So what will I need to do myself when we're up there?
Where's the best place to purchase a spare filter... through the manufacturer or some spa parts place?

Lots of stuff left in spas from the manufacturing and testing (use same water over and over) Purge the system using Ahh-Some line cleaner. Clean filters regularly. Should be able to find generic filters cheaper online than branded filters from the store.
