Title: Summit Spas
Post by: wmccall on April 24, 2005, 09:48:13 am
I had a really unusually detailed dream last night. I was visiting a new spa dealership called Summit Spas and I couldn't wait to get home and tell all of you about it. The logo on the spas had the top of the two M's look like snow capped mountains.

The store was huge with 50 spas arranged in rows of 10 spas 5 wide.  Each spa was sitting in its assigned location noted by a red 10'x10' foot square with its assigned number (1-50) painted in bright yellow numbers on the floor.  Locations 1-10 were separated from the rest by a wall and served at the wet testing location. This row also had a retractable roof for outdoor wettesting weather permitting.

At the front of the store was a large pedestal control panel. The entire facility was  accessible to a built in crane system.  The spas all had access points for easy lifting by crane, but weren't visible when the crane wasn't in use.  Also each pad had 4 hard plastic stakes that served to supply power to each tub which had built in standard recepticles which could only be accessed when the tub came into contact as it was lowered into position. (I guess the plastic retracted to supply power to the tub.)  This way as soon as the tub was dropped into place it had power.  As part of the crane system any tub in any location could be filled or drained with 102 water in 15 minutes.  If you wanted to wet test a particular model it could be moved from anywhere on the floor and moved into the wet testing row, powered, filled, and heated inside of 30 minutes.  Also there was one location in the row of 10 that was left empty so the dealer could take delivery of new tubs using the crane system, or they could pick up a tub and drop it right into a delivery truck from any location on the sales floor.

The last thing I remember was asking about 110v 220 and the system was set up to instantly change the power to the tub from the control panel  to either voltage. In the wet testing room they could have a model running both side by side.

Boy, you sure do have detailed dream recall.
Usually I can't remember much beyone the first couple hours of the morning, even for really vivid dreams.
