If you all have been wondering..."What ever happened to 'ole Bunka?", I can now share with you my latest endeavors... I've been shopping for a new toy. I pick it up tomorrow and simply feel like a 6 year old kid who is getting a day pass in a candy store...that will (hopefully) last for many years...
2011 Victory Cross Country Ness signature series similar to this one. I will take pics with my ugly mugg and share with the forum once I get my grubby little hands on it! LOL

Yep, Victory's are made in America. Not only that but Victory now also just bought the FIRST American bike company, Indian. Indian started in 1901 and Harley arrived 2 years later.

Some renouned local guy overcharged for the tins. They don't make the Duece anymore. Think that makes it worth more? I hope so cause there's way more in it than its worth. I guess it's a love? Seems like a bad investment!!

These are really nice bikes. Are you going for summer fun............

When did Indian start using the "R" in motorcycle. When Indian first started production in 1901 it was Indian Motocycle, now its Indian motorcycle? Does anyone know? I have always wondered how that came about. My fiance who passed away in 2008 had a beautiful 1948 Indian Chief, all stock..his parents sold the bike after he died..I wish I would have had the money to buy it

Thanks. It's a blast but can be a very expensive hobby. Especially when things go wrong.

unforgiven, what tracks have you and your wife rode? I'm in NC, so i've gotten to ride VIR, Road A, etc.
If i could figure out how to post a pic, i would of my track bike as well :P

Yes and no, Victory is owned by Polaris which was originally based out of Canada years ago, but have since moved their headquarters to the states.

We have just been riding JenningsGP the past couple of years. Great track but in the middle of nowhere off I-75 just south of Georgia.

Looking to ride Barber next year and maybe PBIR and Homestead in South Florida.
To post a picture, just host your picture on somewhere like photobucket and then use the link with IMG tags around it.

There we go....
I've never rode Jennings before, but have a few friends that have. They said not really worth the drive compared to other tracks that are much closer so i've never been. Ya'll should head north and hit Road Atlanta! Very fun track! Also, Barber is a nice track as well, but when you go make sure you spend an extra day there so you can go through the motorcycle museum. It's amazing! :)

Very Nice! Jennings is a fun track but definitely no Barber. No garages, just a concrete slab and nothing around for miles. Lot's of AMA guys come down in the winter to test and tune due to the climate. We like it because it's close and you know the cost associated with this sport. Now multiply that times 2 with the wife's setup. I see you are running yellow plates. You running amateur CCS or WERA?

WOW. That was a sweet bike. Looks like a lot of fun! I might have to make a decision between buying one of those or a hot tubs nashville (http://www.familyleisure.com/Nashville/Spas-Hot-Tubs)! I have been looking for an energy efficient hot tub, but I might just have to buy a motorcycle instead! :)

Well, you can certainly come by and get my hubby. 3-4 years ago he bought an 83, fully loaded Goldwing...to 'play with'...then this week he just bought a new goldwing. Since I am a nurse, I consider these 'donor-cycles', but I figure since I made hime up his life insuranc...just kidding....he loves it. He is a police officer and was a motor jock at one time. Now that he is 60, I guess it beats a blonde!!!! Boys with their toys!!!! margeetx!

Currently on a 2000 Road Star, which oddly enough is up on the market. I'm trying to make it look like a hot tub by Fall! Used to lay plenty of road hours on it (it's clocking somewhere north of 40K) but we opened a restaurant & pub up two years ago and I think I've been maybe 300 miles since!
-
Yep. I've been through tons of bikes since 1999 when I bought my first, a 1982 Honda Sabre 750. Here's my current bike, a 2010 Harley Ultra Classic. My second Harley, and IMO one of the finest touring bikes built. It's like cheating with all the things this bike does.

I ride it every day, rain or shine. I bought it last September, picked it up in Columbus and rode it 120 miles back to my house. The next morning I took off at 5am and rode 1000+ miles in under 24 hours and secured my spot in the Iron Butt Association. 1000 miles in 24 hours is the easiest ride they offer. It was tough, but I really want to do another, maybe the Great Lakes ride, which is around all the Great Lakes in 100 hours or less. Sounds great right?
Rubber side down everyone!

09 Ultra. Been riding for many years and had multiple bikes. This is my favorite so far.
