I would expect them to take all the sides off and probe the spa for said leak, with that much water loss they should be able to find it.   Hopefully he has the parts with him to fix.  You may also have a box or something for him to put all the foam he removes in it.  It can be quite messy.

All in all they should find the leak, repair the leak and re-foam the area.  Spa will have to be drained below said leak if its a jet.

Best scenario its just a loose nut.

Good luck keep us posted.

 Welcome to the forum!  ;D

Hi Greg,

I am curious, does your Epic have the Constellation lighting? If so, is it possible that you may have multple leaks from those lights? Because of the foam, it is possible that your leak could be occurring in one area of the tub, but the water is finding it's way to another.

Your tub has a good warranty and I can speak from experience, Marquis will take care of you. Please let us know how this concludes.

Boni

That's why I didnt' get the constellation lighting when Marquis replaced my tub..I was afraid of all those little holes. Maybe my fear was unwarranted..just made me think and decide that one light was plenty!!

Good luck, hopefully your fix will be simple  ;)

Mmmm...Markee, Stuart or Gary is it possible to bypass the inline sanitizer? The water level would be pretty low and the tub probably can't filter or heat. Is that right Greg?

Holy Cow! Five weeks before your tub will be back to normal?  In this economic environment I am shocked that Marquis would be so slow to help you and instead down play this problem.
You can't use your tub...for over a month your tub is usless...and it's possible that it will become contaminated due to the fact that you can't even run the filters.
I have to tell you, I had a much different experience but it may be because I have a very good dealer.

For a tub under warranty, I think this is unacceptable..... >:(

If I was a competitor in the Atlanta market, I would be taking notes.  This sounds more like a dealer customer service issue than a Marquis quality issue.

I would drain the spa and fill it up the day before they arrive. If you have worries on freezing suck as much water as you can out of every orifice with a shop vac. I would have it full so it can, and should be tested before they leave. If testing adds to their labor the manufacturer should reimburse them.

IMO this repair taking so long is a crock.  It shouldn't take a dealer any more than 2 weeks to get parts from the manufacturer, and the dealer should be putting you at the top of the scheduling. IMO the manufacturer and/or dealer should be doing something for you.

I would try superchlorinating after the repair to see if that cleans up any muck.
