This is great news!! Not only are you happy with the repair, now you can feel like you have a good company backing your tub. I am so glad it all worked out for you!
I honestly believed Marquis would come through on this... ;) Thanks for the update!!

Glad to hear they took care of you!
I do have to express the same thoughts about Marquis. Our 05 Epic shell developed a few small cracks along the outside edge of the shell. One of these cracks went from the edge, over the top lip and across the top of the shell and towards the inside. The crack was probably 4 inches long and was at the time only cosmetic (it had quite a ways to go before entering water level) yet a call to the local Marquis store followed up by some pictures of the crack ended in us getting a new 09 model Epic for the cost of delivery only.
I do believe that Marquis is very proactive in taking care of their customers and I would recommend their spas to anyone.

My dealer charged me just for delivery from his store...So it was transportation to my house and removal of the old tub and reinstall and set up of the replacement tub. I believe I paid $250.00 ;)

I thought so too...I tipped the delivery guys pretty well because they made sure everything was just perfect. ;)

@Tommithy: Just out of curiosity, if you don't mind, what was the cost of delivery? Do you mean delivery from your local retailer, or delivery from Oregon?
We paid $350 for delivery. Not sure if it was for "local retailer" or delivery from the plant in Oregon. The dealer is about 15 miles from me and the factory is about 65 miles from me.

THanks for sharing, I'm happy to hear that the Rep Marquis sent out was such a knowledgeable person and not just a figurehead.
