Title: Vanguard vs pulse
Post by: alaska on January 25, 2015, 08:50:37 pm
We have narrowed it down to vanguard and pulse.  We haven't been able to wet test yet.  Any thoughts.  The vanguard is 2k more and 2 inches shorter depth wise  36 inches vs 38 inches.  I'm 6'3" and wife is 5'6".  Daughter is 10 and gonna be tall.

Due to the seats, I can still sit comfortably in my sister's vanguard at 6'1.  I've only seen the pulse.  the only negative thing I can say about the Vanguard, and maybe they have corrected it, the hot water outlet is on the floor of the tub where I step to get out, so if the heater is running, it can be uncomfortable. (Not hot enough to burn, but surprising.

Just found out today that they are updating the control panel on the pulse in 2015 to be more like the vanguard excited about the update.  I am glad that the vanguard fits someone 6'1" comfortably.  Next time I'm in the dealership I'll check the heater inlet area, but that's the same as it was on my classic from 1987.
