At the end of a day like this, I love my hot tub.

Those of you outside of Columbus may not be aware, but we hosted perhaps the most unique airshow in aviation history this weekend. It was called the Gathering of Mustangs and Legends. Besides the normal air show stuff this one featured 100 Mustang P-51s and a lot of their original pilots from WWII including many of the Tuskeegee airmen who trained at the airport we were at. The link above shows some of my photos.   Some of my favorites are the heritage flights that featured modern fighters being escorted by Mustangs.

I think we walked 5 miles today.  I'm heading to the tub.

Great pics, you must have had a good day.  My grandfather flew a spitfire in WW2 and I have always be fascinated by vintage aircraft.

great shots bill. what kind of camera and what size lens did you use for those... i also noticed you froze the propellars in the pics. how fast was your shutter speed to do that...

I was there Saturday from 10 till about 4. What a great show, the F22 Raptor is truly amazing. Got a little too sunburned for the tub though!

Only on my face so I was good for the tub.  Did you see a fat old guy walking around in a black T-shirt that had the Anchor Bar on it?

The Ohio  Highway Patrol and the Franklin County sherrifs tried to keep me from going, but I made it anyway.
