Lori:

--- Quote ---Every animal lover should have a copy of this poem. When I read it, in my minds eye, I can see little Dasher doing his little sideways walk up to me with his tail straight up in the air twitching and hear his raspy growl of a meow, shit, man it brings a tear to my eye. Yep, before my wife I didn't like cats at all, but this one! Coolest cat ever! Miss ya' Dash!

--- End quote ---

Well...I lost my 90 year old grandfather in May.  He had adopted a stray cat that he found in his yard.  This cat (Miss Kitty) loved my grandfather, and didn't like anyone else.  She wouldn't let any of us touch her or anything.  Not even my grandmother, who fed her (and I've never known an animal not to like the person who gave them food)!  Anyway, after he passed, Miss Kitty kept looking for him.  She has finally come to tems that he isn't coming back.  She is being friendly with my grandmother now, even gets in her lap!  I guess Miss Kitty has figured out that he is in a better place, and that she will see him again some day!

I think it is interesting.  Animals feel the same about us.  They also miss us, if we are taken from their lives!

Frank,  I'm sorry about Dasher!
