Btw, I think I have you beat as far as neighbors being "on top" of us.

I believe my decking is about 2-3 inches below the allowed height, so I am just in the clear.  This was planned as I didn't like the idea of a railing on  such a low deck.

by the way....I think I have met all my neighbors, but I don't recognize the blonde lounging by my tub.  I had better pay more attention to my backyard as I feel I may be missing something.

If anyone has pix of the drapes they have put down from a pergola, I would love to see some examples.
