A *im the *im question
Campsalot:
OK I realize that I may very well be shot for asking this :( BUT I'm DYING OF CURIOSITY. I was reading the post below about "how to respond to an e-mail like this" when I decided to go check out this guys H***n web site.
OK load your gunss cause this is where it will get ugly. I visited the site and was appalled by the horrible web site design. However, it was spa information utopia? What makes this *im the *im such a bad guy? No I do not own one of these H**n spas. I own a Sundance Maxxus. No I'm not a spy or a *im the *im plant. I am offering this only because if I were you when faced with a question like this I might think I was a plant or a spy. I just want to know whats so damn bad??? Incidently, I am not a dealer but I play one on TV. LOL! Noe just an end user dude who enjoys this forum.

Campsalot,
Check this to start with: http://www.selberg.org/~speed/spa.html. It will give you an idea of the quality of his products and his (lack of) customer service. If you get an opportunity to read some of his posts (which is tough because he has been banned from most of the spa related forums) you'll see he has an absurdly high opinion of himself and his knowledge about spas and engineering, in general.
Yes, it is a horrible site. Very busy and, at first, he does appear to come off as sincere but if you dig a little deeper you'll see there's a lot more going on there than meets the eye. :o

Strangely enough, this guy's website was the first one I ran into when I began researching spas. I just couldn't take him seriously when I ran across this description of his competition's products....
“Cheap plastic formed into a bowel."
I’d imagine they stock them right next to the rubber chickens. ;D
Campsalot:
Holy &8^%! I have ben reading about this guy for over 1.5 hours. Why is he still in business? I would have to believe that the two customers I read about are only the proverbial "tip of the iceberg". Again why is he still in business? What really fries my %^$# is the fact the damn BBB does not really look into this. He should not be BBB "Reliability Certified". My business is BBB Reliability Certified and now I seriously question it's value. He looks so "old and grandpa reliable" in his photos. That is a scary mixture. I wonder how many spas he actually sales.
anne:
See? All it took was a little reading, and you could see what a horribly demented person he seems to be. That website (in my opinion) is like a car crash- you dont want to look but you cannot take your eyes away from it. Doesn't it make you infuriated on behaf of the poor suckers who have bought into his "wisdom"? Part of what gets to me more than anything else is his extremely poor use of the english language. He does not even sound college educated, let alone having an advanced degree. All of us relax the grammatical muscles in a forum thread, but he'll write passages that attempt to sound scholarly, and he just sounds like a 7th grader. In my opinion. It is pathetic. And that does not even address the CONTENT of what he has to say, just the delivery! IMHO.
OK, done ranting......
