What ship and where?
We are going on Carnival, to western carib. 01/07/2007.
Still a ways off but will give you some feed-back if your interested.

We are going on the Royal Caribbean Freedom of the Seas, the newest and biggest cruise ship. It was the one the Today show featured in NY Harbor a few months back for her maiden Voyage. As soon as our first cruise was done in May of this year, we booked another for 2008. I'll probably stick with RCI for the reward points. The only negative thing about the cruise was the hot tubs, but I guess we are hot tub snobs.

On the Freedom, though some of them actually hang over the side of the ship. (I hope they are not glass bottom

) I don't do well with heights

Bill,

RCCL is by far my favorite of the cruise lines we have sailed. I do think departure port can affect clientele. Happy to say I have never been on a bad cruise

The wife and I are going Sept 10 on FOTS. It was funny hearing how she booked our rooms. She swiched like 4-5 times.....and the operator told her we have a "hump" room on the 9th floor etc. My wife not knowin chit etc...said ok. Well it turns out from what we've heard etc,that hump rooms are hard to get,and desirable.

She's like addicted to the cruise boards etc. If I didn't know any better,I would think she likes the planning and anticipation better than sex

Auto, I'll look forward to hearing what you have to say about Freedom. It should be well broken in by now, but still new looking. Let me know what you think about those hot tubs that look out over the ocean. I've been spending somet time in the RCCI section of that forum as well. My username over there is BillOh
