Noob question
« on: December 10, 2004, 10:29:30 pm »
Hey all, just got the vista delivered, filled, heated, and stabilized thanks to help from this forum and I have a few questions. The first being when i'm in the tub I always change my mind one which jets i want on so I switch the diverter valves to the appropriate postions, I am not supposed to do this with the jets on. Two, is it bad for the spa to shut down and start up the pumps, like to cycle through the speeds? Three, does the cover need to be open when adding cholrine and the clean button is on? Thanks guys.

It is easier to switch with the pumps off, but not a must. As you get to know your tub more, you will get to the point where you open the lid, put the diverter where you like it, get in, and then turn on the pumps.  Don't worry about moving the diverter with the pumps on.

Your spa is very tough. Don't sweat about pushing the buttons. As I said above, you'll get to the point where you can set the tub with your eyes closed, and there will be far less button pushing then.

Yes. Let the chlorine gas escape to extend the life of your cover.

Thanks for the reminder Lori,

I didn't say:

May you live long and prosper. May your tub bring you more pleasure than you favorite pair of jeans, but slightly less than your significant other.

I think I can beat that.....

I wished upon a star tonight as sat in the spa alone because my wife and I had a fight

I’ve been here for an hour because you see when I came out she locked the door and I don’t have a key.

I refuse to knock and beg or even apologize but my desperation is beginning to rise. You see I came to soak as naked as can be and after reading of the Drewski affair I know that’s not for me.

So I set here under the sky and wait for her to fall asleep so I can give the window a try.
 ;)

Stuart,

You are really a poet laureate...not a spa salesperson!

Really...that is lyrical!

I tried it as an Iambic Pentameter;

Could it be that I am stranded in Hot Tub  paradise?

Naked for the world to see and pruning away aimlessly?

Just doesn't have the same effect....! ;D 8)
