Hasn't been used in 2 years, but still holds water

(1/1)

Viper_Dude:
WOW! I saw this on Ebay and just had to share. Here's the description:

Morgan Spas Ozonator Hot Tub Jacuzzi. I am selling this item for my next door neighbor. He said that he bought it about 6 years ago and it was in use until 2 years ago when his landscaper cut the underground power line. It has sitting ideal ever since. He is installing a new deck and the tub is in the way. It still has water in it and it looks clean. It may need some pump seals, TLC other minor repairs after sitting ideal for 2 years. I could not find a nameplate but the digital panel reads Morgan Spas Ozonator. It measures 7 x 7 and there are a lot of jets in it. I saw 2 pumps and one heater inside the side door. The outside wood is in fair condition with only some minor rut on the backside. The cover is in fair shape and still very useable. The gazebo top can be removed fairly easy for transportation. Overall the tub is in fair shape and it looks like it was well maintained. Since we can not power the spa up, it is being sold as-is, as shown and where-is.

I thought it was a joke until I saw the pictures!

In case you have to see this with your own eyes, ebay # is 4447638574

BTW, sorry if this is a repost.

as gross as the crap on the shell looks,  I am surpised the water looks that good after 2 years.

Don't understand why they didn't fix the power line? They sell kits for splicing underground wires for less than $20. (don't ask how I know that  ::) )

On second thought, I'm calling BullSh__ on this.

I don't thinkk the seller is being forthright.

no way will water left for 2 years looks that good.  This tub was recently filled.

and the more I think about it,  someone not making a cheap fix (cut wire) on  a hot tub is even more stranger.  The fact it's not sitting on a pad has me concerned as well.

currenlty there are 12 bids on it, and is up to $180.00

Surpised the seller couldn't get more info on Morgan Spa.

Google gave me:

I was thinking the same thing. How could is still have water in it after sitting for two years in the Texas sun?

East_TX_Spa:
We have hauled more Morgan and Sunbelt Spas to the dump than any other brand.  Every single one of them looks like that (or worse) within 5 years.  Cheap, disposable, kit spas.
