On a positve note....Grandpa again!!

Many of you remember December a year ago I was blessed with my first grand child Kai. Sadly he was 2 month premature by "C" section and had downs so his outlook was bleak and there was not a lot hope.

He is now just over a year old and a miracle boy...Doesn't seem to have many of the health issues that downs babies have nor does he show much sign of downs physically. In addition he is the happiest baby alive!

Thursday night his baby brother Jayden came into the world without a single flaw. He was 6 lbs 11 oz and very healthy. Kai immediately started singing to him, sticking his tongue out him and laughing.

I thought of Mendo and his loss this month and settled my thoughts into the circles of life....

I'm happy that Kai is doing so well.  That is remarkable.  Congratulations on your latest addition! Sounds like Kai is already a great big brother.

Good for you and yours Stuart. I never had grandparents and always wondered what it was like and love to see the relationship between my kids and their grandparents. I'm sure you'll play the wise and generous grampa for many years to come.

I traumatized my kids as much as I can on my own...I now have a responsibility to teach their children the art of torturing them.... ;D
