Nature2 Spa Stick Mineral Sanitizer

TLWR:
I changed my water 2 or 3 weeks ago, and installed a new Nature2 stick. I am having my hot tub motor replaced next week, and since my spa does not have a shut off valve, the tech requested I drain my tub before he arrives.

Will the existing 2/3 week old Nature2 stick still be usable, or do I need to replace that when I refill the tub?

Stick it back in, it will still do what it was meant to do (which isn't much)
